Emmys 2019 maybe a few months away but the nominations list was out yesterday and it seems as though Game of Thrones has already won the first round! The HBO drama, which has become a cult series amongst masses for almost a decade, broke Emmys record for most nominations for its final season; standing tall at 32 nominations. While Kit Harington and Emila Clarke scored nods in the Lead Actor categories, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Peter Dinklage, Alfie Allen, Gwendoline Christie, Lena Headey, Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams have dominated the Supporting Actor categories. Carice van Houten also earned a nomination in the Guest Actor category.

Sophie, along with Gwendoline, Alfie and Carice, is a first-time Emmy nominee and is "beyond humbled" to receive the nomination, according to the actress' Instagram story. However, like a true Queen in the North, Turner gave due credit to her co-stars as well, even though they are competing in the same category! Sophie wrote, "I'm beyond humbled. I truly never thought that this would ever happen. This is the best farewell to the show that has been my life for the past 10 years. Also YES QUEEN to these queens; @gwendolineuniverse @iamlenaheadey @maisie_williams."
