Spider-Man 3 is easily one of the most anticipated films this year. In a series of post-lockdown film releases, this Tom Holland starrer stands out for its army of Marvel fanatics. After the success of the film’s first two installments, it is prepping for another release that is already receiving all its well-deserved hype. Filmmaker Jon Watts, who helmed Spider-Man Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home is back in the director's chair. 

On Tuesday night, Holland and his co-stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon pranked the internet with their own ‘fake’ titles for the film, including Spider-Man: Phone Home, Spider-Man: Home Slice, and Spider-Man-Homewrecker. The stars have now come out with the real name of the film which is Spider-Man: No Way Home. Sony and Marvel Studios have set the next Spider-Man installment for Dec. 17, 2021. The film has a promising cast with Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange and Jamie Foxx as Electro along with the possibility of previous Spider-Man actors Tobery Maguire and Andrew Garfield along with Kirsten Dunst making cameos.

Holland, Zendaya, and Batalon featured in a video confirming the real name, alongside a ‘Christmas 2021’ release date, promising it will "only" be in cinemas. The third Spider-Man film is currently in production in Atlanta, Georgia. Fans have taken over social media to express their love for the Marvel movie and are extremely excited for the big reveal.
