Spider Man: Far From Home poster photoshops Tom Holland's face on Tobey Maguire's body? MCU star thinks so

Do you think that one of the Spider-Man: Far From Home posters seem like they are photoshopped? If yes, you are not alone. Tom Holland thinks the same. The actor, who will reprise the role of Peter Parker for the second time in a standalone Spider-Man movie, spills the beans.

Spider-Man: Far From Home released a slew of posters ahead of the Marvel movie release. The posters featured Tom Holland posing in a slew of international locations. Many of these posters see Holland posing by himself. However, there is one that sees Holland unmasked but suited up with the rest of the cast members. The British actor poses with Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio and Samuel L Jackson's Nick Fury. The London set up played the background. While we loved the poster, Holland joked that he thinks Sony morphed Holland's head over Tobey Maguire's body.

The actor expressed his thoughts on the poster during an interview with the BBC. Holland, along with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, were discussing the movie with the international channel when the Zendaya and Jacob began teasing Holland over the described poster which was placed behind the interviewer. The actors began quizzing Holland if it was really him. The actor played along and took a jibe at Sony.

“Does that even look like you?” Batalon asked. “You know, it doesn’t. That poster makes me so upset. That’s probably Tobey Maguire’s body on my head. It’s not even my body! I don’t know why they did that," Holland quipped. For the unversed (I mean how could you be a Spider-Man fan if you don't know), Tobey played the Spider-Man in the first standalone series based on the superhero.

“Sony is freaking out right now,” Holland added. “They’re like, ‘please stop making fun of the posters,’” Holland added, teasing the production house who owns the rights to the superhero, who also featured in Avengers: Endgame. Pretty sure Sony must be freaking out.

But they might be busy counting the mullah they are earning out of Spider-Man: Far From Home. The movie opened to a massive $39.2 million on Tuesday and recorded the biggest Wednesday collections with a collection of $27 million on Wednesday, Forbes reports. Given the collections reports, Spider-Man: Far From Home is tracking an opening weekend collection of $170M-$190 million, Deadline reports.
