Billy Dee William, who has portrayed the character of Lando Calrissian in Star Wars films, is coming back to reprise his role in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. But, in a recent interview with Esquire, Billy Dee Williams revealed a major personal detail about himself. The 82-year-old actor revealed that he considers himself as gender fluid. Billy Dee Williams was giving an interview from Russia Tea Room in New York to Matt Miller.

On the interview, Billy Dee Williams said, “I say ‘himself’ and ‘herself,’ because I also see myself as feminine as well as masculine. I’m a very soft person. I’m not afraid to show that side of myself." Talking about his character, Dee Williams added that, “I never tried to be anything except myself. Williams also talked about the future of his character Lando, as he revealed that it all depends on the success of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, saying that, “It’s a conclusion — certainly it depends on how much money is generated. That’s when they determine where’s the conclusion. The one thing about show business, you can resurrect anything.”
