The whole world is waiting for the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Finally, there are only a few weeks left for the final chapter of this saga to hit the screens. According to Deadline, the projections aren’t as much high as of Star Wars: The Force Awakens (USD 247.9 million) and  Star Wars: The Last Jedi (USD 220 million).

Deadline’s sources have hinted towards a USD 205 million and above the opening for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The numbers are positive and strong for any movie but not what we expect when we are talking about the final movie of Star Wars saga that has been running for the last 40 years. Meanwhile, Atom Tickets has reported that the first day sales of this film are second to only Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame.

Since Atom Tickets is not as big as Fandango in ticket retailing, as a result, they represent a small portion of pre-sales. But, all eyes are on the world Hollywood premiere of this film that is going to held on December 16, 2019. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is set to release on December 20, 2019.
