In what will surely be a good box-office ending for Hollywood movies, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is the last big-ticket release of 2019. Episode IX has been eagerly awaited because it marks the end of the four decades-long Skywalker saga that began with the original trio - Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa and Han Solo (Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford). In the J.J. Abrams directorial, a major key focus is on the friendship of the sequel trio - Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron (Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Oscar Isaac).

In the past few days, there have been several TV spots and featurettes popping on YouTube surrounding the making of The Rise of Skywalker, while also paying homage to the originals and prequels. In a recent Friendship Featurette, the focus is heavily on the friendship between Daisy, John and Oscar, which began during the filming of Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015). While Ridley quips how working with Boyega and Isaac is like kids going on an adventure, John revealed that the thing that he really liked about Episode IX was that the trio gets more scenes to do together.

"The dynamic between us three is capturing some of that spirit of the original films," Oscar gushed while comparing the sequel trio to the original trio.
