Taylor Swift is in trouble and she is reaching out to her fans today seeking for some help. Months after she took to her Tumblr account to call out Scooter Braun and his company after his brand acquired her former music label, Big Machine Label Group, and deemed him a bully, the singer has taken to social media yet again to reveal that he and his partner Scott Borchetta are preventing her from performing her songs at the upcoming American Music Awards 2019.

The international singer took to her social media accounts to lament about her fight against Braun’s media holding company Ithaca Holdings LLC after she didn’t “know what else to do.” In a long post, Taylor elaborated on how the duo is stopping her from performing the music she has written and sang. She went on to reveal that the company has put across a few clauses under which she can use her perform her music.

“Guys – It’s been announced recently that the American Music Awards will be honoring me with the Artist of the Decade Award at this year’s ceremony. I’ve been planning to perform a medley of my hits throughout the decade on the show. Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun have now said that I’m not allowed to perform my old songs on television because they claim that would be re-recording my music before I’m allowed to next year,” she began.

“Scott Borchetta told my team that they’ll allow me to use my music only if I do these things: If I agree to not re-record copycat versions of my songs next year (which is something I’m both legally allowed to do and looking forward to) and also told my team that I need to stop talking about him and Scooter Braun,” an excerpt of her post read.

Deeming their move as “WRONG”, Taylor revealed how fans could help her. She said fans could reach out to Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun to let them know they feel about this. “Scooter also manages several artists who I really believe care about other artists and their work. Please ask them for help with this – I’m hoping that maybe they can talk some sense into the men who are exercising tyrannical control over someone who just wants to play the music she wrote. I’m especially asking for help from The Carlyle Group, who put up money for the sale of my music to these two men,” she added.
