Pop star Taylor Swift has had a crazy 2019. From battling it out for her own music with Scooter Braun to making history at the 2019 American Music Awards by winning more AMAs than any other artist. Not just that, Swift also beat the late Michael Jackson who has held 24 awards and won Artist of the Decade. Her album 'Lover' has also garnered rave reviews and ever since then, Taylor has been on a winning high. The artist will next be seen in Cats which is based on the legendary Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical.

The two stars, Taylor Swift and Andrew Lloyd Webber, came together for British Vogue and spoke about the film which is set to release on 20 December. Taylor has written and performed 'Beautiful Ghosts' for the film. Speaking about her music, Webber, who composed the 1981 Cats musical based on the 1939 poetry collection by T.S. Eliot, asked her if she recorded her album 'Lover' as though she was giving live performances.

Swift revealed that she did perform most of the songs in one take because at that point she was touring and soon went on perform in Cats. So, it was easier for her to do it all in one go. "So a lot of that album is nearly whole takes. When you perform live, you're narrating and you're getting into the story and you're making faces that are ugly and you're putting a different meaning on a song every time you perform it."

This urged Webber to ask Taylor if she would ever consider acting. The singer said, "I have no idea. When I was younger, I used to get questions like, 'Where do you see yourself in 10 years?' I'd try to answer. As I get older, I'm learning that wisdom is learning how dumb you are compared to how much you are going to know."

Speaking about her experience while filming Cats, Taylor said, "I really had an amazing time with Cats. I think I loved the weirdness of it. I love how I felt I'd never get another opportunity to be like this in my life."
