The big news left Taylor's fans ecstatic who flooded social media with their reactions. Taylor had become the youngest Grammy award winner back in 2010 to win a Grammy for album of the year for Fearless.

Over the years, the singer and record label Big Machine Records, who released Fearless, legally clashed over the ownership of her music. The singer eventually left BMR in November 2018 for Universal Music Group as it gave her the ownership of any music she hence forth created and recorded for the label.
