Taylor Swift's Close Friend Phoebe Bridgers Announces New Album Lost Weekend, First Solo Record in 6 Years
Singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers has announced her 3rd solo album after 6 years.
Acclaimed singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers has officially announced her highly anticipated third studio album, Lost Weekend. The record is set to arrive on August 14, marking her first solo release in six years after the critically celebrated 2020 album Punisher.

The announcement has thrilled fans who have eagerly awaited new solo music from the artist since her last full-length project in 2020. Bridgers shared the news through her Instagram account, revealing that listeners will not have to wait long for fresh material. “My third album, Lost Weekend, is out August 14th,” she announced, kicking off a new musical chapter.
While the singer has kept additional details about Lost Weekend under wraps, the announcement alone sent her fans into frenzy. The album reveal comes weeks after Bridgers announced an arena tour and began teasing her return with a series of surprise pop-up performances. She first took the stage in New Mexico in May before hosting a memorable phone-free concert at Madison Square Garden, which was announced only days in advance.
Although Lost Weekend is her first solo album in years, Bridgers has remained a major force in music through her work with former supergroup Boygenius. The trio earned widespread acclaim for the record, which won Best Alternative Music Album at the Grammy Awards.
Their hit single Not Strong Enough also secured awards for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance. On the same night, Bridgers claimed another Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for Ghost in the Machine, her collaboration with SZA.
