Terminator: Dark Fate brought a lot of people from long exiles and John Connor was one of them. Connor is one of the most important characters of this franchise and was tipped to save the future in Dark Fate. The character of Connor was presented with the help of CGI, as they imprint his younger face on a younger actor to show that he’s in 1991. But Tim Miller presented the character most shockingly as Connor was killed by T-800 while relaxing on the beach with his mother.

The huge debate was centred after the release of Dark Fate as people couldn’t be able to understand why Furlong wasn’t allowed to reprise his character completely in the film. Furlong himself has revealed in an interview that he’s saddened and furious by the treatment his character got in Dark Fate. As he said in an interview with Bloody Disgusting’s Alex Leyba, “They smoked my ass! That was the role. I did it for a day – I shot for one day. And, yeah, we did some CGI. They paid me. So, I mean, ya know. It kinda bums me out. Cause I’d love to do a whole one and make a shit-ton of money. I would love to do more, but we’ll see what happens.”

There are chances that we could see Furlong reprise his role in a future Terminator movie since we have seen a lot of time over the years that time travel is what this franchise has adopted time and again. In the end, the funniest part of all this chaos is that the idea of killing Connor suddenly on the beach was from James Cameron. Terminator: Dark Fate currently running in theatres.
