The Batman Part II: Is Sebastian Stan Not Playing The Role of Harvey Dent And Two Face? Find Out
According to online reports, Sebastian Stan will not be playing Harvey Dent in The Batman Part II.
The highly anticipated casting landscape surrounding director Matt Reeves’ upcoming DC sequel, The Batman: Part II, has just taken an entirely unexpected turn. Earlier, reports suggested that Marvel star Sebastian Stan had joined the ensemble as Gotham City's DA, Harvey Dent. However, a fresh industry scoop has completely upended these widely held fan expectations.
Sebastian Stan traded from Harvey Dent to Victor Zsasz?
According to The InSneider, Sebastian Stan will actually be portraying a much darker, more twisted antagonist, Victor Zsasz. In the DC Comics, Zsasz is historically depicted as a chilling, psychopath who leaves an erratic path of destruction and notoriously carves a distinct tally mark. The character's inclusion aligns seamlessly with the dark noir detective tone established in the 2022 film, and Stan's recent public appearances sporting a completely shaved head have further fueled casting speculation online.
Brian Tyree Henry backed for Harvey Dent?
Sneider’s insider sources reveal that the Eternals star Brian Tyree Henry, who was already officially confirmed by Matt Reeves to be a part of the massive sequel's cast list, is actually the individual stepping into the complex role of Harvey Dent.

Apart from them, the film will also star Scarlett Johansson. The Batman: Part II is officially locked to make its global theatrical premiere on October 1, 2027.
