Fans were heartbroken and mourning the loss of Spider-Man from Marvel Cinematic Universe when Disney and Sony deal reached an impasse. From tweets begging Marvel and Sony to reconcile to setting up a memorial at the D23 Expo, fans were extremely sad with Disney and Sony's breakup. Through it all, Tom Holland chose to remain quiet and refused to issue a statement on the split. Turns out, he was trying to fix the broken deal. A few weeks ago, it was revealed that Holland reached out Disney head with the hope they would find a way to keep Spider-Man in MCU.

Now, Holland looked back at the period and revealed that it was one of the toughest times of his life. Appearing at the ACE Comic Con Midwest with Spider-Man: Far From Home co-star Jake Gyllenhaal, Holland addressed the period. He deemed the period stressful and said that it was the most stressful week of his life.

As reported by ComicBook.com, he made the confession when he was talking about the lip-sync battle he had with Zendaya. He was asked if he would take part in the challenge again. To which he answered, "I don't know, I feel Zendaya and I did the first one pretty good...but maybe." He added, "Who knows? Probably not, if I'm honest. It was the most stressful week of my life, without question." Holland paused a bit and added, "well...maybe the whole Disney/Sony thing when that happened, that was a bit of a stressful week."

When asked for more details, he said, "I'm sure there's some contractual obliged thing where I can't say anything about anything, so I'm just going to keep my mouth shut."

Disney head Iger appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and revealed Holland reached out to the Disney team, requesting them to help him get in touch with Iger. "After D23, Tom reached out to folks who work for me and said, ‘Can I please have Bob’s e-mail address or phone number?’ Of course, I’m very protected, so they were very careful. I said ‘Sure, have him contact me,’ and he did,” he said.

"We spoke. And he basically made a — he cried on the phone, no, not really. But it was clear that he cared so much. And actually, we care about him," he added.
