The Undertaker vs. Goldberg was a match that was a dream bout for many! While the dream match did take place in Saudi Arabia during Super ShowDown PPV in June 2019, the botch-filled bout left a bad taste amongst the WWE Universe! Goldberg recently got candid about the match with Booker T for his podcast, The Hall of Fame. Explaining why he chose to do the match in the first place, the wrestler felt it was an opportunity of a lifetime. It was not because the PPV took place in Saudi Arabia, but it was because it was against The Undertaker.

Furthermore, the legend spoke about how he accidentally knocked himself into one of the ring posts. "But the ring post thing, hey man, that's a spot that a couple of the bookers came up to me and said, 'Well, we called it,'" Goldberg confessed while stating that he is not the level of entertainer that Ric Flair was. "My way of making people's jaws drop is blurring the line of reality and fiction so everything I do has to be," the wrestler shared.

Goldberg's reasoning for the bad match was bad timing between the two wrestlers and the heat. "I can't bounce back from it like I used to, and then the perfect storm of the heat, and the perfect storm of Taker not having the timing and not going at the same time at one point or something," Goldberg responded.
