WWE News: Roman Reigns defends The Undertaker and Goldberg's botch filled match at Super ShowDown

Roman Reigns was all praises for his Extreme Rules 2019 tag-team partner The Undertaker calling him his ultimate dream partner. The Hobbs & Shaw star also defended The Undertaker and Goldberg's botch-filled match at Super ShowDown. Read below to know more about what the WWE wrestler had to say.

Back in June 2019, Roman Reigns had been the target of attack for Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre. However, The Big Dog got some major assistance from The Phenom aka The Undertaker! It was during the June 24, 2019 episode of Monday Night Raw when Shane and Drew attacked Roman. However, Undertaker was present to save the day and an Extreme Rules 2019 tag-team match was set up that saw Reigns on Undertaker in one corner against McMahon and McIntyre. The match was extremely liked and appreciated by the WWE Universe, as it saw the return of Undertaker, in full form.

As opposed to his Super ShowDown botch-filled match against Goldberg in June 2019! However, Roman was quick to defend Taker and Goldberg in an interview with ESPN. "It was unfortunate what happened out there in the desert [against Goldberg in Saudi Arabia]. It was a tough situation. It was hot as hell out there. Those guys aren't in the ring all the time. You have to have your wrestling legs under you. Even when I miss a few live events, I can feel it," Reigns shared with ESPN.

Talking about teaming up with Taker, Roman added that the legend was moving good and when he felt the high boot, Undertaker near went over everyone's head! Stating that Undertaker is in great shape and looked good, Reigns added, "To be honest, I might be lying if I said there's gonna be a [better] dream partner out there. That night was so cool, I don't think I'll be able to up that."
