It came as a shocker to many in January 2019, when it was announced that Dean Ambrose was not returning to WWE post his contract expiring in April. Post leaving the company, Dean, now Jon Moxley, surprised wrestling fans yet again when he made a surprise appearance at AEW's All or Nothing PPV and sneakily ambushed Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho. In his post-WWE interviews, Jon has criticized Vince McMahon and the creative writers for being stagnant and not letting the wrestlers shine.

However, he has been plenty of praises for his brothers in arms, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns aka The Shield. Recently, WWE Universal Champion Seth was asked by WrestlingAC about his good friend and whether we will see the two, along with Roman again, as the Hounds of Justice. Talking about his emotional goodbye with Dean, Seth revealed that Ambrose gave him a big hug, said that he loved him and it's not goodbye. It's just, see you in some time. "We’re always going to be bonded and I wish him the best and you haven’t seen the last of us together I’m sure at some point down the road we’ll be putting the fists together some time," Rollins continued.

While he can't put a certain date to when that will happen, he does have a feeling in his guts that the brothers are bonded together, forever.

"Who knows [about a Shield reunion], never say never… I just have a feeling in my gut that we haven’t seen the last of myself and Dean Ambrose," Seth concluded.
