Dave Bautista aka Batista started his journey in WWE in 2002 and became one of the most popular faces in Sports Entertainment. The Animal then quit and ventured into the world of Hollywood. He found success as Drax in the Guardians of The Galaxy franchise but the wrestler in him was still alive. During the SmackDown 1000 celebrations, Evolution reunited and the moment of the segment came when Batista quipped that Triple H has never been able to beat him.

After ruining Ric Flair's 70th birthday celebrations during Monday Night RAW, a match was set up between Batista and Triple H at Wrestlemania 35. The 24-minute gruelling match saw Triple H come out victorious with a little help from the Nature Boy and his beloved sledgehammer. Batista, then took to Instagram to announce his retirement from Sports Entertainment. The wrestler wrote, "To all the @wwe fans across the world that gave me the opportunity to suspend your disbelief, thank you. From the biggest part of my heart thank you for letting me entertain you. Tonight was my storybook ending and I wanted to leave you with all I had to give. I’ll miss this theater of violence more than I can express in words but I am officially retiring from Sports Entertainment."

"I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished, I leave in great health, and without a doubt, the show will go on. I had a hell of a run. Thank you for the journey #dreamchaser #wrestlemania35," Batista concluded.
