WWE: Triple H has THIS to say when asked if John Cena is returning for a match at Wrestlemania 37
It was fairly recent when John Cena made a surprise appearance in a WWE video package along with Roman Reigns and Sasha Banks to unveil the dates and venues for Wrestlemania 37, Wrestlemania 38 and Wrestlemania 39. Given that Wrestlemania 37 takes place this year on April 10-11 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, with a live audience in attendance, one wonders if Cena will be back for another match at The Grandest Stage of Them All.
In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, when Triple H was asked about the rumours of John returning to WWE for a match at Wrestlemania 37, the 51-year-old wrestler teased, "I won’t put words in John’s mouth, but I can speak to his passion, and it’s WWE and Wrestlemania," before adding, "Once you do this at a high level, and John does it at the highest, it’s very hard to put down. If there is a way for him to be there, he will be there."
The last time we saw John in a WWE match was his epic Firefly Funhouse Match with Bray Wyatt aka The Fiend at Wrestlemania 36 which became an instant classic amongst the WWE Universe.
