Indian cricket team has showcased their exceptional skills in both batting and bowling department in the tournament. Their top order looks extremely fit and both their openers scored a century in the earlier matches. Virat Kohli, who takes the responsibility at number 3, is currently the best batsman in the world and provides stability to the team. Their bowling consists of the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal. It wouldn’t be wrong to conclude that this Indian team is one of the most balanced sides in the tournament.

However, when we talk about fixing their spot in the semis, skipper Virat Kohli feels that it is way too early to talk about that. He mentioned that after 6 matches, they would be in a better position to know where they stand in the tournament. He also added that the team couldn’t have asked for a better start against two of the most strong sides in the tournament.

The Men in Blue will play against the Black Caps and Pakistan in their next two games. Virat Kohli mentioned that it’s good that they are playing all the strong sides up front and if they do well in the first phase, they’ll be in a better position to reach the semi-finals.

He also added that the team needs to be at their best and that’s what they have done in the previous two games and won both.
