Team India's ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 campaign came to an end after their loss against New Zealand in the first semi-finals at Old Trafford, Manchester on Wednesday. There have been lot of talks about MS Dhoni's batting position in the semis and also the lack of a quality batsman at number four which continued to haunt the Men in Blue throughout the tournament.

The Committee of Administrators (CoA) said that it will take into account the reports of the manager and the head coach and it has no plan to review the team's performance in the World Cup.

" I am not aware of any review that is going to be conducted. Let us just wait for the manager and coach's report which is the standard practice after every tour," said Vinod Rai, head of CoA.

Also the other members of the CoA said that there wouldn't be any review of that sort. Diana Edulji said, " Why should there be a review? Why should CoA interfere in cricketing matters." "I am not aware of any review meeting," said Thodge.

The selection committee headed by former cricketer MSK Prasad has received severe backlash from fans and pundits all over the world for not being able to find a suitable player at the crucial number four slot.

When asked if a decision on the selection committee would be taken by the CoA, Rai said, " We inherited the selection committee. We had not picked it. The next AGM will decide the new selection panel."

Just after the loss against New Zealand in the semis, India's coaching staff have been given a 45-day extension.

Edulji said, " They have been given a 45-day extension. Normal process will be followed for picking the staff after that. An advertisement will be given and applications will be invited."

Team India will travel to West Indies for 3 T20Is, 3 ODIs and 2 Tests beginning from 3rd August.
