GOT7 members have been focusing on their solo careers while keeping the group alive since their contract ended with their former agency in January. Main vocalist Choi Youngjae was one of the first members to join another agency, Sublime Artist Agency, to facilitate his growth. Recently he boasted an eye-catching visual on the cover of "The Star" magazine's March issue with the theme "BELIEVE IN ME".

The artist spoke about his solo album stating that he would like to challenge himself through ballads. Choi Youngjae also spoke about starting a YouTube channel that would be a space of his own for sharing covers of songs and vlogs documenting the journey behind his creations. The name of the channel would be "ARS", his alias as a songwriter.

When asked to suggest a spring song for fans, he said, "GOT7 has a song called Moon U. I don't know who wrote it but the song is good." ARS was one of the songwriters of this song from their mini-album titled "7 for 7".

The artist expressed the regret of the septet and their fans for the cancellation of a scheduled concert because of the pandemic. He expresses his wish of being on stage and in the company of fans.

Choi Youngjae's bucket list has sent a wave of determination through fans as they gear up to help their beloved vocalist in fulfilling it. His wish is to top the music charts in the near future. In the words of Choi Youngjae, "If not 2021, then 2022."
