Two time world champions Team India will take on New Zealand in the 18th match of the tournament at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Both sides are unbeaten in this tournament, but India go into this contest as favorites. India need to be wary of the fact that this was the same bowling line up which bundled them out for 179 at The Oval few weeks ago. The team is expected to counter overcast conditions and it would be interesting to see how the new batting order face against quality fast bowlers like Trent Boult.

Meanwhile, New Zealand have had a brilliant run in the tournament so far and would want to continue this streak going forward. They would be hoping that their batting order fire collectively as a unit and win four on the trot to retain the top position.

Here we have a look at the some of the numbers going into this contest:

Trivia:

India and New Zealand are going to face off against each other in a World Cup after 16 years.

KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma have never opened the innings together in an ODI. It would be interesting to see how they perform in Shikhar Dhawan's absence.

Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma have put together 4726 runs between them- the second most by any Indian pair after Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly.

Martin Guptill requires 93 runs to complete 1000 runs in World Cups. If he does so, he would be the second New Zealand batsmen after Stephen Fleming to achieve this feat.

Kane Williamson is yet to score a World Cup hundred.

Tim Southee is only New Zealander and fourth bowler ever to pick up a seven wicket haul in a World Cup game.
