Hart's wife Eniko Parrish had told TMZ reporters outside the hospital last week that Hart is doing “great” and is expected to fully recover. "He’s gonna be just fine. He’s good, everybody’s good. Thank god. He’s fine, he’s awake," she said as she returned from a coffee run.

The actor has an intense physical therapy to look forward to and as per reports he may at least take four months of full recovery to return to normal work life. The accident has affected Kevin Hart's jam packed work schedule.

International media reported an audio obtained by the TODAY show days after the accident. An unnamed woman told a 911 operator, “I need someone to come get him.” When asked by the operator for details of the incident, the woman said, “I don’t know what happened. He’s just here. He’s not coherent at all,” before adding, “He can’t move.”

Kevin Hart's friend Dwayne Johnson, who had filled in for him on Kelly Clarkson's talk show, had said, "Honestly, I mean, thank God, it could've been a lot worse. So, he's a lucky man… and he knows it too. I wish him the best and a speedy recovery and I'm gonna see him soon. He's doing very well," Johnson revealed.
