The England cricket team, who suffered a shock defeat against Sri Lanka in the their last game, will be eyeing a return to winning ways when they take on Australia at Lord's in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 on Tuesday. The home side, after already losing to Pakistan earlier, cannot afford any more slip-ups and will be eager to find their lost mojo against the defending champions.

However, they have been dealt a massive blow as Jason Roy, their aggressive opener, has been ruled out of tomorrow's clash. Roy had injured his hamstring against the West Indies and was optimistic about returning against Australia but failed to pass the fitness test.

The opener was in fine form before injury hit him. He started the World Cup with a fifty and then continued with an impressive 153 against the Bngladesh side before being unfit during the game with Windies. He did undergo a training session at the nets prior to the game against Australia, but was unable to recover on time.

His replacement James Vince has only scored 40 runs combined against Afghanistan and Sri Lanka and will be looking to contribute handsomely against the Aussies.
