Jeon Hye Jin and Joo Hyun Young seem to be all set to star in lead roles for an upcoming drama titled Sunny Baseball Club.
Jeon Hye Jin and Joo Hyun Young are reportedly in talks to headline the upcoming drama Sunny Baseball Club. According to reports, both actors are currently reviewing the project, although no official confirmation has been made yet.

According to Soompi, Jeon Hye Jin’s agency, HODU&U Entertainment, stated, “Jeon Hye Jin has received an offer to star in the new drama Sunny Baseball Club and is currently reviewing it.”
The report also states that Joo Hyun Young is in talks to join the drama, although her agency has yet to respond to the casting reports. Sunny Baseball Club reportedly follows the lives of married men as they navigate the challenges of participating in amateur baseball leagues.
Oh Jung Se is also reportedly in talks to play the lead role, while Jeon Hye Jin has been offered the role of his wife. Meanwhile, Joo Hyun Young is reportedly being considered for the role of Joo Ah, a newlywed who has been married for just six months.
The project marks the latest work from director Min Jin Ki, best known for the New Recruit series and Salon de Holmes. The screenplay is being written by Yoon Ki Young, who previously collaborated with the director on New Recruit 3 and New Recruit 4.
The drama is reportedly scheduled to premiere in 2027 as a TVING original series.

Jeon Hye Jin is currently starring in the workplace fantasy revenge comedy The Warden, created by Kim Soon Ok. Directed by Go Hye Jin and based on the web novel The New Employee Chairman Kang by San Kyung, the series follows Chairman Kang Yong Ho, who, after an unexpected accident, swaps souls with a young man named Hwang Jun Hyeon and ends up working as an employee at his own company.

Joo Hyun Young was last seen in the romantic comedy film Pretty Crazy, directed by Lee Sang Geun. The film follows a woman living downstairs who hides an extraordinary secret. When she meets the man living upstairs at 2 AM, the two embark on an unforgettable late-night adventure while the rest of the building sleeps.
She also appeared in the romantic drama series Ms. Incognito, directed by Park Yoo Young.
