On March 7, Grammys released its list of performers - first on Twitter, one by one - and then on their website. ARMY waited with bated breath and as soon as the ‘It’s going to be Dynamite!’ tweet went out, all heaven broke loose! BTS will be performing at the 63rd Annual Grammys Award, to be held virtually on March 14, 8 PM ET/5 PM PT on CBS!

Hosted by the famous comedian, television host, writer Trevor Noah, Music’s Biggest Night’s stage is all-set to welcome the K-pop sensation, BTS. On the other hand, ARMY can’t stop talking about this incredible achievement on Twitter! They’ve got 4 hashtags trending since the performers’ announcement yesterday - What Yoongi Wants Yoongi Gets, #BTSGrammyPerformers, #BTSPavedTheWay and #BTSHistoryMakers. Taking us on a nostalgic ride, the timeline is filled with how the rapper, Yoongi, first expressed his wish of going to the Grammys, being a nominee, getting an exclusive performance stage and even winning an award. Three out of four of his wishes - expressed on various interviews and live streams over the years - have been accomplished.

Check out the Recording Academy’s tweet below:

ARMY can’t help themselves but gush over their idols receiving this honor and we’d like to show you some of the best tweets we found, that express the fandom’s solidarity, utter happiness and their way of celebrating BTS’ accomplishments!

The global superstars are the ONLY Korean artists to ever be invited to Music’s Biggest Night, the first to ever present an award, to perform, to be nominated and now, the first and only artists to get a solo performance stage! Also, this amazing news comes right before Yoongi’s birthday (9th March) - which makes this honor much more special for the group members and their fandoms across the world!
