The cast of the upcoming South Korean thriller, Sinner, just got a major, star-studded upgrade. Multi-talented actor Lee Jun Young is officially locked in to make a special appearance in the film. He will be joining a stellar lead cast that features Jung Sung Il and the versatile Park Ji Hyun.

Lee Jun Young's agency, BILLIONS, officially announced the exciting update. They teased that the actor will be stepping into an incredibly impactful role designed to shake up the film’s narrative.
On May 21, his agency BILLIONS shared, “Lee Jun Young will appear in ‘Sinner’ and transform into an impactful character. The film is currently in post-production.”
Insiders from the production team have revealed that while his screen time might be brief, his character is key to the story. He is set to appear during a major highlight moment in the film, which could trigger an explosion of intense emotions, leaving an impact on the audience. This cameo could turn the film's climax upside down.
According to Soompi, Jung Sung Il will be seen as Seok Gyu, a nominee for Minister of Justice. He begins uncovering the truth behind a past incident, which is connected to letters written by Soon Hwa (played by Park Ji Hyun).
For the unversed, Sinner is a high-stakes, gripping mystery drama that showcases the protagonists connected through a dark past. It has been showcased as an upcoming South Korean title at the Cannes Film Market this year. The thriller marks the highly anticipated feature directorial debut of filmmaker Hong, with the project currently in its post-production phase.
