BTS members Suga and Jimin posted heartwarming greetings for ARMY on the occasion of Lunar New Year on Twitter and Weverse.

Lunar New Year: BTS member Suga posts a cute selca in a hanbok; Jimin says 'let's be happy together' to ARMY

Koreans celebrate Lunar New Year based on the Chinese Calendar. This year, the occasion falls on February 12 but it will be celebrated over a long weekend starting from February 11 to February 13. It is also the year of the Ox. BTS members have been sporting traditional hanboks and posting pictures and messages, greeting their beloved fandom ARMY, on this auspicious occasion. Suga and Jimin too posted their greetings on Twitter and fan-community site Weverse respectively.

Suga posted a cute selca of himself, wearing a traditional navy blue hanbok. His face is glowing as he seems to be recovering well from his shoulder surgery. He posted a short, abbreviated greeting - HNY for ARMY. It is a short greeting of the traditional Korean greeting, which translates to 'Receive many blessings in the New Year'. Jimin also greeted ARMY with a heartwarming message on Weverse. The message read 'Our ARMY, please receive a lot of blessing on this new year! (Happy New Year) Let's be happy together this year as well!!'

Meanwhile, Suga is all set to join the rest of the group for their special, home-concert like performance for MTV Unplugged. It is touted to be an hour-long program dedicated to BTS and their renditions of their chart-busting hits. He also posted a short video of himself curating the ideal ARMY room, accompanied by an ASMR style voiceover. BE: Essential Edition releases on February 19.
