Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor are all set to team up almost three decades in 102 Not Out. In the film, Big B will be seen playing the role of a 102-year-old man and Rishi as his 75-year-old son. Today, the makers have shared released their first song, titled Bachche Ki Jaan.
The song has been sung by Arijit Singh and composed by Salim-Sulaiman. Bachche Ki Jaan shows how Rishi is struggling to write a love letter in a funny way and Amitabh Bachchan is seen teasing his old school son.
Check out the song:
Considering the fact that both the actors have to play their characters that are more than their actual age, a lot of prosthetics and makeup was used to make them look like their respective character’s age.
Director Umesh Shukla told a leading daily that it would take his ageing protagonists a staggering seven hours for make-up every day. “Initially, I thought they would get irritated with the long-winded process but the make-up actually helped them emote and complemented their characters really well. Both Amitabh sir and Rishi ji would walk onto the sets at 5 am with a different kind of energy and we would commence shooting after lunch and go on till 6 pm. At times, the shoot extended to 9 pm. But that mostly happened when we were in the midst of shooting a scene and wanted to can it in one shift for the sake of continuity,'' he said.
He added that the film’s team shot for nine nights in the 45-day schedule in Mumbai.
He also shared that while Bachchan’s dentures were manageable, Kapoor’s bald cap was a cause of concern. “Rishi ji, who plays a 70-year-old character, would feel extremely hot in it. Whenever he removed it, and I am not exaggerating, it looked like he was sweating by the glass. He had to wear that cap for at least 12 hours every day,” he revealed.
102 Not Out is set to hit the screens on May 4, 2018. The film is based on playwright Saumya Joshi's well-known Gujarati play by the same name.
Earlier, talking about the film, Shukla said to a media agency, "Sometimes, what happens is that when so much makeup is done before the shoot, one gets tired, but with these people (Amitabh and Rishi), they never show it... Forget about showing, it doesn't even seem they are tired. Both actors are so passionate about their work that they don't like it if a shot is not well done. They see to it that there's perfection."

So much of over-acting, especially by Amitabh Bachchan. The makeup looks so fake. Prince Phillip at 96 looks fragile, while Bachchan, shown as a 102 years old is dribbling with football. Utter nonsense!

Why do I think this is going to flop, that problem is both actors are awesome but story, dialogues sound so cliched, why can not people write a good comedy? And if you can not please do not even attempt.. what’sthe Point of showing typical faultu comedy..

This looks like an OTT flop film
