Punjabi singer Kaur B, who has been winning hearts with her soulful voice and peppy numbers, has come up with a new surprise for her fans. After basking in the success of her last track ‘Kaafir’, the renowned Punjabi singer has now joined hands with Akhil Sachdeva who is known for giving us Kabir Singh love anthem Tera Ban Jaunga. The duo has collaborated for the new season of T-Series MixTape Punjabi and their melodious jugalbandi of ‘Chan Kitthan’ and ‘Mere Sohneya’ is winning hearts.

While it is her first collaboration with Akhil and with MixTape, the Paranda singer is quite excited about the same and was all praises for her co-singer. Calling him a good performer, Kaur B was glad to share the stage with Akhil. “It was an amazing experience. This was my first time with MixTape. I am glad I got the opportunity to work on something so amazing with Akhil Sachdeva who is such a good performer and vocalist. The experience was really different from singing a normal song because in this we collaborate to sing two songs as one,” the singer was quoted saying.

On the other hand, Akhil spoke about the chemistry he shared with Kaur B during the T-Series MixTape Punjabi season 2. “Kaur and I had a fun chemistry which people could see. I think the uniqueness of her voice and texture combined with my vocals would be the USP of the song,” he added.

Furthermore, director Vinay Sapru also shed light on Akhil and Kaur’s equation and said that while the duo had Heer-Ranjha kind of chemistry, their melodious track also brought back the memories of classic romances like Romeo Juliet. “It’s one of the classic Punjabi poetries which will remind you of Bulleh Shah poetry,” Sapru emphasised.
