NCT 127 is officially making its long-awaited return. According to Soompi, on July 7, reports revealed that the K-pop group will release its seventh full-length album on August 24, 2026, marking its first comeback in nearly two years since the launch of its sixth studio album, Walk, in July 2024. Confirming the news, SM Entertainment told Dispatch, “NCT 127 is making a comeback with their seventh studio album on August 24. Please show lots of interest and support.”

A special album celebrating a decade

The upcoming release carries special significance as NCT 127 celebrates the 10th anniversary of its debut. According to the agency, the album reflects on the group's decade-long journey while looking ahead to the future with confidence. Built around NCT 127's signature musical identity, the record is expected to showcase the members' matured artistry and strengthened teamwork, reaffirming the group's unique place in the K-pop industry.

The comeback will feature Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun, and Haechan. While Taeyong and Jaehyun have recently completed their military service and returned to activities, Doyoung and Jungwoo are currently serving, making this a five-member release. Fans are eagerly anticipating the group's first music project following the recent changes in the lineup.

Fifth world tour begins in Seoul

Following the album launch, NCT 127 will kick off its fifth concert tour, Neo City – The Red Line, with three shows at Seoul's KSPO Dome from September 18 to 20. Inspired by the idea of pushing beyond limits and reaching peak performance, the tour promises powerful stages and high-energy performances that build upon the success of the group's previous The Momentum tour.

After opening in Seoul, NCT 127 will take the tour across Asia, beginning with Jakarta on October 3, followed by Hong Kong on October 10 and 11, Singapore on October 18, Bangkok on October 31 and November 1, 2026, and Taipei on January 2, 2027. Additional cities will be announced through the group's official social media channels. Since debuting with Fire Truck on July 7, 2016, NCT 127 has delivered chart-topping hits including Cherry Bomb, Hero, Fact Check, Run, and Giddy Up, cementing its reputation as one of K-pop's leading acts.
