Defending champions and table toppers Australia will take on New Zealand in what will be the 37th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.  After their first defeat of the tournament against Pakistan, New Zealand will come all guns blazing and prove that their loss was a just a one off thing. They are currently at third position in the points table with 11 points. A win from their last two group games would help them reach the semis.

Meanwhile, Australia are the only side to have reached the semi-finals after winning six of their seven encounters. They would want to ensure that they remain at the top so as to get a relatively easy opponent in the semis. For the Aussies, David Warner leads the batting charts with 500 runs from 7 games at a staggering average of 83.33 and skipper Aaron Finch is at second position with 496 runs. On the bowling front, Mitchell Starc leads the wicket-taker list with 19 wickets and has formed a lethal combination with Pat Cummins, who has picked up 11 wickets.
