Kane Williamson’s New Zealand cricket team defeated the Men in Blue in semi-finals to claim their spot in the Finals at Lord’s. Black Caps have a tremendous bowling line-up in the tournament with the likes of Trent Boult and Matt Henry. Both the teams have never won a World Cup in the past and will be eyeing their first title. Let’s have a look at the key players from New Zealand to watch out for

1. Matt Henry – In the semi-finals against India, this New Zealand fast bowler provided the team a much needed breakthrough in the start of the innings. He claimed three wickets in his spell with an economy as low as 3.70. He sent both the Indian openers, KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma back to the pavilion which helped New Zealand to gain an early momentum in the start which was carried on till the end of the innings. In the team’s previous encounter against the hosts, he claimed two wickets with an economy of 4.10.

2. Kane Williamson- This New Zealand Skipper is the team’s most dependable batsmen and has scored runs in pressure situations for the Black Caps. He smashed a brilliant 67 against the Men in Blue before losing his wicket to Yuzvendra Chahal. Williamson, who is close to 550 runs in the tournament and has smashed two hundreds, will be eager to put forth a high score in the finals. His calm and intact captaincy will play an important role for the Kiwis in this big clash of the Finals.
