It’s been two years since the Pulwama terror attack - horrifying incident where 40 brave Indian soldiers were killed in the line of duty. This had happened after a suicide bomber rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the security convoy of the soldiers. While this incident had left the nation in deep shock, today the social media was flooded with heartfelt tributes for the martyrs remembering their supreme sacrifice for the nation. Joining them, several celebrities took to their social media handles to pay their homage to the martyrs.
Sharing a picture of the martyrs, Riteish Deshmukh wrote, “I bow my head down in respect for our brave soldiers who laid down their lives at Pulwama to keep us safe. We will never forget their supreme sacrifice, we stand in solidarity with our armed forces. Jai Hind #pulwamaattack.” Kartik Aaryan also shared a similar post and tweeted, “#PulwamaAttack के शहीदों को नमन On this day, 2 years back 40 soldiers sacrificed their lives for our nation in Pulwama attack. Prayers for the brave souls and their families. We'll always be in debt of yours Flag of India.”
Sidharth Malhotra, who will be seen playing the role of Indian Army officer, tweeted, “A salute to the brave hearts who sacrificed their life in the line of duty on this day. #PulwamaAttack.” On the other hand, Hungama 2 actress Pranitha Subhash tweeted, “2 years ago, On This Day. Never forget. Never forgive. Remembering the brave Jawans who lost their lives in a cowardly act of terrorism in the #PulwamaAttack. A big salute to them”
