Kabir Khan’s Phantom based on Hussain Zaidi’s novel Mumbai Avengers has invited controversies. The film that show a fictional take on the 26/11 Mumbai Terrorist attacks might be banned in Pakistan.

The Jamaat Ut Dawaa’s chief Hafiz Saeed urged Pakistani Government to place a ban on the film as according to him the film is implicating JuD and that film shows filthy propaganda against Pakistan.

When at a recent media event, Salman was asked about the ban, he said, “I haven’t seen it yet and it would be unfair for me to comment on the film before I have seen the film. I don’t think Kabir will ever make a wrong film. He is a very correct person, he believes in right and wrong. So I don’t think Kabir Khan would ever make a film that is wrong in any way.”

Will Phantom be banned in Pakistan?

A Pakistani film called "Waar" was banned in India , because it was an anti India movie. In Waar they NEVER mentioned India directly, but it still got banned. In the trailer of Phantom Pakistan was mentioned in a very bad way as if Pakistan is a really bad country. And to the person above saying "Why are we allowing their actors in Bollywood then" what are bollywood actors like Irfan Khan and Priyanka doing in Hollywood?

They r working in hollywood n not in pakistan .. i hope u understand difference ...

There are many Indian actors that have worked in Pakistani ads, songs and films including Naseerudin Shah, Kareena, Priyanka, Arjun Kapoor (see Qmobile ads..)

I'm a Pakistani, have seen the trailer. It will definitely be banned!

Reason: Challenging a country's sovereignty. Not acceptable!

p.s. USA is different because the puppet Pakistani governments are always in agreement with the US govt. and can't say no.

Why are we allowing their actors in Bollywood then.

Because they allow indian actors , plus many ads of indian models run on their tv channels.
