Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt admits she was "not happy" with how her last release Shaandaar fared at the box office, but she says she doesn't regret doing the movie.

Asked about the failure of Shaandaar, Alia said here: "I was not happy, obviously. It was a clear no-show. If it's not a good film, then it will not do well, I will not say we made a good film and it didn't do well."

"Yes, there were problems... But, I will not blame anyone either. I will take full responsibility for it. When I signed the film, I did it happily and I still have no regrets. Now it has happened, so it's okay. Now I will work harder and move on."

The movie was directed by Vikas Bahl of Queen fame.

Alia will next be seen in Dharma Productions's Kapoor & Sons with Sidharth Malhotra.

"Working with Dharma Productions is like coming home. It's like a family to me. Karan (Johar) is a very liberal father... he is like my father and he gives me a lot of space. When I worked with Sidharth earlier, we were newcomers, so we were very nervous. This time we had a great time as I had a certain bond with him."

Directed by Shakun Batra, Kapoor & Sons also features Rishi Kapoor, Ratna Pathak Shah and Rajat Kapoor. The film is slated for release on March 18.

hopefully when kapoor and sons and your other future ventures are also a no-show you and KJ will regret big time

Atleast she's honest about the equation between her and KJO. LOLL ! :D

I am literally TIRED and BORED of her! Wish we had more mature and talented actresses who CAN act!

oh please..leave Indian janta alone for now. No one will watch KNS for u..but for the other star cast. You dont have anything new to offer to ur audience..

Why will u regret Alia when u are the god child of Karan Johar...Even 10 more flops wont effect you.

Nice. A lot of actors will try to place blame on someone else if a movie flops. Whoever's fault it is, if it's not a good film it's as simple as that. It's as much the directors fault as it is the actors, producers, the list goes on. Not all films will work and I think it's important to recognize that as these guys are actors.

Ok Alia Johar.

Y will u have regret ls..its not like u have to go look for work....lol
