Ever since Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon has wrapped up, the audience is eagerly waiting to catch a sneak-peak into the film. And as the curiosity amongst the audience is at its peak, there is some good news that has come to our ears. The first trailer of Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut starrer is all set to release on January 6, 2017.

Set against the backdrop of World War II, Rangoon is a Casa Blanca type musical treat directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

While Shahid plays an army officer, Kangana plays the role of a stuntwoman. However, Saif's role is kept under wraps and we cannot wait to know what new do we have in store for us.

Rangoon releases on February 23, 2017, two days before Shahid Kapoor's birthday!

Looking forward to this one

Hope this turns out to be an epic war drama of the likes of "finding private Ryan" or Casablanca.

Wow only 2 film (Matru and Saat of his which didn't work out but even they were critical praised. Vishal never makes bad films he is one of the best filmmakers and most unique filmmaker ever. Was always ahead of his time did different kind of cinema even when indian audience prefered/prefer masala films but now the audience is also changing Bollywood needs and wants these kind of films

I have heard a lot of rumors and reports that Shahid and Kangana shared cold vibes and did not get along at all on the sets. I hope for Vishal's sake it doesn't affect the final footage of the film. Anurag though talented deserved Bombay Velvet's failure for his and Ranbir's arrogance and the way they dropped Ranveer like a hot potato without caring to even inform him!!! However I do not wish the same for Vishal and it would be unfortunate to see all his hard work go in vain.

Lol bombay velvet?! We're talking about VISHAL BHARDWAJ the man behind Maqbool, Omkara, Kaminey, Haider...

the man behind Saat Khoon Maaf, Matru ki Bijli ka Mandola too

Sounds like another Bombay Velvet
