Aamir Khan, one of the most renowned actors in Bollywood, is titled as the Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood. Acing every role that he plays, he is a name clearly etched in our hearts for his incredible acting and his love for cinema. However, Aamir and his daughter Ira Khan are not on the same page when it comes to acting. Recently in an interview with Mid-Day, Ira revealed that acting has never been her calling. Her interest lies in filmmaking and she loves her space behind the camera.
The star kid has given a big no-no for acting but certainly, she has inherited her passion for filmmaking from her father, who is known for his blockbuster directorial hits. Ira is all charged up to make her directing debut with a theatre play, Medea, an ancient Greek tragedy written by Euripides, based upon the myth of Jason and Medea. The play is scheduled for December and is to be staged pan country.
In the same interview, Ira revealed that there is no particular genre that she is fond of. She would direct a story that she feels she wants to tell the world about. The budding director is not particularly into horror but wishes to explore any genre coming her way. She also expressed her interest and passion for theatre calling it magical and all-consuming.
