After stepping out of #MeToo accused director Subhash Kapoor's Mogul last year in the wake of allegations of sexual harassment against him, Aamir Khan has reversed his decision and confirmed his collaboration with the hemler. His controversial decision stirred many, including Tanushree Dutta, who initially gave rise to the #MeToo movement in India last year. The actress slammed the justification given by the actor, calling it a well-crafted excuse. Recently, the accuser of Subhash Kapoor, Geetika Tyagi, too has expressed her disappointment on Aamir Khan's decision.

Last year, the aspiring actress had called out director Subhash Kapoor booking him under sexual harassment charges. The filmmaker, who has directed films like Jolly LLB 2, Phas Gaye Re Obama, Guddu Rangeela, came out as one of the names exposed in the #MeToo movement in Bollywood. Recently, the accuser commented on Aamir Khan's decision to work with the director and expressed her disappointment saying that she had lauded the actor and his wife for their support last year because their decision gave hope to more women to raise their voice and share their own stories. Even though she had never asked for their help and support, she was overwhelmed on receiving it from them.

Geeta also said that it was strange for her to learn that the actor has gone back on his decision and now that Subhash has been hired back, she feels that it would have only been fair if they considered both sides of the coin and reach out to her as well.
