After Shah Rukh Khan, mommy Gauri Khan can’t get over Aryan Khan’s voiceover in The Lion King as Simba
The news about Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan lending voices to The Lion King characters, Mufasa and Simba left everyone excited. All fans wanted to hear how Shah Rukh’s son, Aryan sounded. After Shah Rukh Khan’s teaser as Mufasa in The Lion King came out, fans fell for it right away. Yesterday, after a long wait, Shah Rukh shared Aryan Khan’s voiceover as Simba in The Lion King on social media. Post that, fans couldn’t help but compare his vocals with Shah Rukh and were in awe of Aryan’s stint as Simba.
Hours after sharing Aryan’s teaser as Simba, Shah Rukh tweeted about the fact that even he thought his son sounded just like him. Now, mommy Gauri Khan also can’t get over son’s voice as Simba and took to social media to share the same video. While many of the Bollywood celebs like Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and more were in awe of Aryan’s voice, it was Gauri’s sweet message for her son that will make your heart melt.
Gauri shared The Lion King video and wrote, “Watching this on repeat.” It is not the first time that Shah Rukh and Aryan have lent their voices for a Hollywood film. Back in the days, Shah Rukh Khan and his son dubbed for the Hindi version of The Incredibles. It is after 15 years that Shah Rukh teamed up with his son for The Lion King.

Meanwhile, The Lion King is a live-action film that is helmed by Jon Favreau and is the remake of the 1994 animated film by Disney. The film tells the story of a father-son, Mufasa and Simba. After Mufasa dies, his son Simba tries to run things as per the teachings of his father. The film will trace Simba’s journey after he succeeds his father Mufasa. The Lion King is slated to release in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on July 19, 2019.
