One of the most stunning actresses of Bollywood, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, has made a niche for herself in the industry in all these years of her career. The diva has given many blockbusters over the years and is now happily married to Abhishek Bachchan and also has a daughter with him named Aaradhya. However, belonging from a family that had no earlier connections in Bollywood, and making her mark in the industry on her own, which is irreplaceable today, has been quite a journey for her.

In a throwback interview of the actress, she talked about her earlier days of fame when she became Miss World. The actress said that she became more responsible and serious about her career after that, because she officially became a celebrity then. Since the diva did not have any experience in acting before, she said she had to put more efforts and took a lot of time learning everything. And after her film ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ became a hit, people started taking her seriously because that was her third film only and was with good actors and director.

On her upcoming projects, Aishwarya is reported to work in Mani Ratnam’s next. If reports are to be believed, the film will a historical drama and a source told media that it's very likely that her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan will also feature in the film. However, no official confirmation has been made yet about the news.

Her PR should stop using Mani Ratnam's name to gain publicity. Mani gave an interview recently and revealed his next movie's cast and Ash Aunty's name is not there. Mani will never work with Bachchans after how they blamed him for Raavan's failure yet collected fake awards for Abhi-Ash as best actor and actress.

This is how she looked before she did extreme skin whitening, upgraded to green contact lenses, new wig/hair extensions, and expensive makeup.

She looks really average. Take out those contact lenses and she looks like any other South Indian girl.

One thing I like about her. Her story has never changed over the years.. She has maintained consistency about her start.

Her story consistently changes along with her accent and her looks.

She was dating Salman then. She was sooooo innocent and cute and natural then. Even her skin color makeup- everything was subtle and simple. The moment they talk about hum dil de Chuke Sanam- her eyes light up.Now she’s terrible, arrogant, loud, wannabe trying to be cool and constantly acts as though she’s the center of the universe. Guess being in the Bachchan family has made her more arrogant.

Ash is relatable in this interview. Shy, introverted, delicate yet eloquent and strong.

Truly a beauty with brains.

She was always so beautiful... But her heart was even more beautiful...

She was always so beautiful... But her heart is even worse beautiful...

She seems so raw & real in this video. Shes a completely different person now

She was vv beautiful. Looks good even now but I personally feel that she wouldve been better off without cosmetic changes.

I feel its obvious she has aged, but she still looks equally beautiful without opting for cosmetic changes.

This interview has the genuine Aishwarya Rai who was adorable! The woman she is today is today is so fake.

Was this late 1990's?

Amitabh blamed such a successful director for hindi raavan failing while tamil ravanan was a hit.

Nothing new to talk about

This is an old interview, duh!

How mani ratnam will take amitabh bachchan after ravaan's fiasco?!...amitabh blamed mani for his son failure...and aish PR should stop this noise and waite until mani ratnam confirms it...

lovely Aishwarya. God bless her
