The Indian Meteorological Department's (IMD) Mumbai observatory issued a rain and thundershower warning for Mumbai and suburbs beginning Monday night in view of Cyclone Ockhi. Therefore, schools and offices remained shut in the city today.
However, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, and Anil Kapoor braved the December showers to shoot for their upcoming movie, Fanney Khan, for 12 straight hours at a studio in Bhandup.
"The trio filmed from 9 am to 9 pm on Tuesday, a hilarious sequence which had everyone in splits," a source from the set told a leading daily, adding that concerned about the safety of the team, the makers had made arrangements to film indoors. "The three got along well and even dined together."
Fanney Khan is the official Hindi remake of the Oscar-nominated Dutch film, Everybody's Famous!
After more than a month, post his ankle fracture, Rajkummar Rao has finally started shooting with Aishwarya and Anil. It will be the last portion of the film after which it will wrap up. The actress will shoot after that in January 2018 for the songs in the film – a solo, some with Anil and some with Rajkummar and a few scenes of Anil and Rajkummar together.
During an interview with Pinkvilla, when we asked Rajkummar about the movie, the actor had replied, "I am very excited. I can't wait to begin."
About working with Aishwarya, Rajkummar admitted to being nervous about shooting with her. He had said: "It is H2SO4 types. There is a love angle between us and I am looking forward to it. I am little nervous to romance the most beautiful lady of the world."
