Ajay Devgn is all set to shoot non stop for the final schedule of Maidaan in Mumbai from February 14

After having completed 65% of the shoot, Ajay Devgn and his team will resume work in the final schedule of Maidaan from Valentine's Day. The actor is all set to shoot non stop till April to call it a wrap in the sports film.

The COVID 19 pandemic brought a standstill to several ambitious projects in Bollywood and Ajay Devgn starrer Maidaan was one of them. However, now with things getting back on track, the actor is all set to resume work on the final schedule of Maidaan from February 14 in Mumbai. The film which is 65% complete will be shot non-stop till the end of April after kicking off on Valentine's Day. Ajay will be joining the shoot on February 14 in Powai, Mumbai. 

Over the past two months, the football coaching and choreography along with the physical conditioning camp has been on with the players. Ajay will join the shoot from 14th February and after finishing his part he will rejoin the team on 10th March in Madh where they will begin the shoot of the football sequences. The production team of Maidaan has ensured all safety measures and precautions to ensure the team is in good health through the schedule. 

The film will star Ajay as Syed Abdul Rahim, who was among the finest football coaches that emerged from India, the one who put India on the global map. The VFX work of the film has been under process throughout the lockdown period in various countries globally. Earlier, the posters of the film were launched and the new release date of the film was also announced. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, the film also stars Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh. Produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla, and Arunava Joy Sengupta, it is all set to release on October 15, 2021.
