The whole country was completely shaken when everyone woke up to hear yet another horrifying incident of the brutal rape and murder of a Hyderabad based veterinary doctor. Angry civilians took to their social media handles and expressed their concern about women’s safety in the country. They also condemned the murder and demanded the culprits to be caught and punished. The latest to comment on the horrific incident is Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar.

The actor took to his Twitter handle and strongly condemned the entire incident. He mentions about some previous similar incidents which have happened in the past and says, “We seem to be losing it as a society.” He further states, “Our moral fabric continues to be in pieces.We need stricter laws. This needs to STOP!” Previously, numerous political leaders like Rahul Gandhi, former Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu, G Kishan Reddy and others had also demanded for strong action to be taken against the culprits who committed this heinous crime.

The brutal killing of the 26 - year old victim shook the conscience of the entire nation. Numerous people paid their respects and consoled the grief stricken family members of the girl. The prime accused of the murder has already been taken into custody along with three other suspects. Everyone is now hoping that the culprits are punished soon through the implementation of fast track court for commiting the heinous crime.
