During the busy promotions, Akshay Kumar announced that he will be dedicating Kesari to Bharatke Veer, an initiative to help the soldiers and their families.

The initiative was launched on Valour Day of CRPF and was initiated by Akshay to provide financial security to the soldiers' families who sacrifice their lives in the line of duty. Akshay mentioned that Kesari is about the brave men who sacrificed their lives to save their land. Bharat Ke Veer will help them and their families.

Akshay mentioned, “My producers and I are happy to dedicate Kesari, based on the Battle of Saragarhi, the second bravest battle ever fought, to BharatKe Veer. It is a film that showcases valour and the highest degree of desh bhakti. It is a befitting tribute to our soldiers, who have laid down their lives for the nation.” He has also asked the Ministry of Home Affairs to look into the funds of Bharat Ke Veer and use it to help the families of soldiers.

He mentioned, “While the families of martyrs currently receive help, the authorities are studying the possibility of providing monetary help to the men in uniform who suffer injuries. After all, there are many who find it hard to earn a livelihood because of a lost limb or other health ailments. If this happens, it will mean more soldiers will get looked after by the establishment.” Today, while promoting Kesari, Akshay and Parineeti seemed full of energy and urged their fans to watch their film. Kesari, produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Sunir Kheterpal and presented by Zee Studios releases on March 21, 2019.
