Akshay Kumar has been dealing with rather peculiar films since quite some time now, and while the actor is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, Kesari, the actor was asked about joining politics during one of the promotional events. Kesari is a film based on the Battle of Saragarhi, where 21 Sikh soldiers of the British Indian Army fought against ten thousand tribal warriors from Afghan. And well, the actor sure has gone all out with the promotions, and that’s where this question about politics came out.

Asked if Akshay is taking such projects because he has an intention to join politics, the actor outright denied the possibility of any such thing happening any time soon, or ever. As known, the actor shifted his focus from action films to those that are patriotic r have a social cause that is affiliated to it. Films include the likes of Rustom, Pad Man, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and more. The actor said that he doesn’t have an agenda behind the films and that he only feels that he can connect to the audiences better through the films rather than join politics.
