If there is one star in Bollywood, who is known to deliver 3-4 hits in a year and still continues to do films one after the other, it is Akshay Kumar. This year began on a good note for Khiladi as he kick-started with a hit, Kesari. Later, he was seen in Mission Mangal and managed to win the hearts of everyone with his stint. Today, his film Housefull 4 has released and Good Newwz is on the way in December. Amidst this, a report in a leading daily came in stating that Akshay might be in talks with Aditya Chopra for Dhoom 4.

The report had a source stating that Akshay convinced Aditya that he is perfect to play a negative role in Dhoom 4. However, Pinkvilla has learnt from the production house that the report is false. A source revealed, "The article “Dhoom to get Khiladi’s touch?” printed in today’s Mid-day is absolutely incorrect and baseless. Dhoom is an extremely important franchise for us but currently we do not have an idea or script for Dhoom 4. " The Khiladi is already doing a film with Yash Raj Films that is titled, Prithviraj and the first look was shared on his birthday.

However, King Khan had shut down all rumours a while back in an #AskMe session. Meanwhile, Akshay’s multistarrer film Housefull 4 released today. It is directed by Farhad Samji and is a Diwali release. In Prithviraj, Akshay will be seen playing the historical warrior Prithviraj Chauhan. It is directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and will release on Diwali 2020.
