Alia Bhatt is the new age actress that is sure going places and while she does in fact, have a list of the best films in her kitty, she is continuing to do great and has an immensely massive line up of films ahead. Currently, she is busy with the promotions of Kalank, which stars Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha in pivotal roles. Her last film, Gully Boy too, had an ensemble cast along with Ranveer Singh in the lead roles.

When quizzed how both Kalank as well as Gully Boy being ensemble films change anything about her agreeing to such roles, the actress gave out a smart answer. She said how that is a negative attitude to have and how films are always bigger than the actor. She also added how she looks at how the storyline is affected by the character and how would the storyline exist if that character is pulled out and if the answer is no then it is an important character. She further went on to say how it is trapping to want more screen timing or get into a war over it and that no actor should get involved in it. She concluded by saying how she wouldn’t mind doing a two-part scene if she loves the story and how sometimes in the greed of working with a certain director and their vision, one might end up doing a smaller role too.

Meanwhile, the actress made it to the headlines yesterday as she gave it back of sorts to Kangana Ranaut for pointing out her performance in Gully Boy as mediocre. The actress has been doing well on the box office and fans of the actor are happy with her roles irrespective of whatever others have to say.
