While biopics are Bollywood’s latest success formula, many of the actors have taken up films related to it. From Ranveer Singh doing Kapil Dev’s biopic to Janhvi Kapoor opting for Gunjan Saxena’s life story, mostly all have taken up this genre of movies to ensure a successful venture in their kitty. Keen on joining this league is Bollywood’s sweetheart, Alia Bhatt. The star of the upcoming film Kalank is keen on doing a biopic which had been offered to her a while back by a renowned director of Bollywood.

Alia is keen on doing a biopic with Shakun Batra of Ekk Main Aur Ekk Tu fame. Not just any biopic, Alia expressed her eagerness to take up a biopic based on the spiritual guru Osho. In an interview, Alia mentioned that the biopic had been offered to her by the director a while back. But it had been put on hold since Priyanka Chopra Jonas had already been offered a Hollywood film on the same lines. Earlier, there were rumours that Aamir Khan will also be a part of Shakun’s film. But, now, the film is on hold.

Alia said, “Shakun had floated the idea. I liked it and had agreed to it but the project is still in the inception stages and hasn’t been confirmed yet. But if and when he comes to me with the ready project, I would love to be a part of it. But at the moment, I have a long line up.” While Alia is extremely keen on taking up this project whenever it works out, she has a huge line up of films with renowned directors from the industry.

Is there a shortage of actresses in Bollywood? An average actress is put on a pedestal way beyond her talent.. Got sore eyes just looking at her photo..

Most Indian actresses are not in demand by early 30s. Look at the lack of films for DP, Anu, KR, Kat, Bebo and PC. Even worse for them after they marry unfortunately as the indian male audience does not desire them as much.

Lucky Alia. For the next 3 yrs she has 3 releases per year. Make hay while the sun shines.

She will be free to do this role by the end of next yr.

Alia is playing Robin Wright's role in Lal Singh Chadda with Amir.

She is in Amir's Forrest Gump remake too.

Two things are going to happen - she is going to burnt out by her late 20s early 30s. Audience is going to get fed up of her in the next 2-3 years.

This is the time to unfollow Bollywood

She is greedy.....for everything.

irritating bhatt.. get lost somewhere..

She's average in every possible way, stop shoving her down our throats

I have had enough of this girl. This is making way too much appearances
