Kalank is one of the most awaited films, and with April inching closer, the makers are ensuring that the excitement quotient is never low. Starring Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sanjay Dutt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur in pivotal roles, the movie has released posters that have us all in awe of the period drama, and then came the first song yesterday. Titled Ghar More Pardesiya, the song is indeed what we can call cinematic beauty.

And well, while Madhuri Dixit is the ultimate dancer in the whole of B-Town, Alia too, was a little intimidated by the idea of dancing with her. However, she revealed that it was only until she proved to be of encouragement to her and Madhuri ensuring that her moves her perfect, she could heave a sigh of relief. She also went on to say how she is thankful that it wasn't a dance face off. She went on to say how everything during her performance is perfect was something that Dixit took care of.

She further adds that she spins were the most difficult and due to the weight of the lehenga it added to the woes and became difficult to spin fast. She then spoke about how she was worried as to how did she do, but it was only once she finished and Remo sir gave her an okay that she was reassured about the performance.

Alia also revealed how this song is the edited version of what the final one is and that they want to leave chunk for the movie as the song is visually opulent and has a cinematic quality.

Alia is so mediocre in this dance role that it shows her limitations. Horrified to see MD stand and see such comic dance moves.
